In the last blog we put forth the position that Satan has deceived the entire world about this significant figure known as Jesus. In this blog we want to begin working to discover the truth about him. The key to learning the truth about Jesus lies in knowing the answer to a question that was posed by the Hon. Louis Farrakhan on June 26, 2010. On that day in Atlanta, Ga. the Minister asked, “Who are the real Children of Israel?”
After asking such a serious theological question, the Minister went on to answer the question using history and scriptural references. He declared to the audience and the thousands who listened by radio and internet that the real Children of Israel are not the people, who currently occupy Israel, instead they are the Black man and woman here in America. The Minister went on to say that someone had usurped (Gen. 27:33-36) our position as God’s Chosen. He challenged Jews, Muslims, Christians and theologians to disprove what he was taught by his teacher the Hon. Elijah Muhammad.
The identity of the Children of Israel is essential when working to get a true understanding of Jesus for several reasons, but I will mention two in this blog. The first reason is because that knowledge will help us understand which people we should be looking for this Jesus to come from. This is important because the very people, from whom he is born, will be the people he will save from their sins and the sins of their oppressors. Theologians and the scriptures agree that Jesus would be born from among the Children of Israel who are the Seed of Abraham and a people who were once in physical bondage (Gen. 15:13-14). The people who now claim to be Jews (Rev. 3:9) were never in physical bondage for 400 years by their own scriptural admission (John 8:33). In addition to this admission there is also no historical record outside of the Bible of a people being in bondage in Egypt. This is a truth that archeologist, Egyptologist and even some courageous Jews acknowledge.
When asked by a journalist about Exodus during an excavation showcase, archaeologist Dr. Zahi Hawass, in a NY Times article titled, “Did the Red Sea Part? No Evidence, Archaeologists Say” responded, “Really, it’s a myth. If they get upset, I don’t care. This is my career as an archaeologist. I should tell them the truth. If the people are upset, that is not my problem.”
In an article titled, “Doubting the Story of Exodus,” Rabbi David Wolpe, during a Passover service before 2,200 congregants stated, “The truth is that virtually every modern archeologist who has investigated the story of the Exodus, with very few exceptions, agrees that the way the Bible describes the Exodus is not the way it happened, if it happened at all.”
In the same article another preeminent archeologists William Dever, a professor of Near Eastern archeology and anthropology at the University of Arizona said, “Scholars have known these things for a long time, but we’ve broken the news very gently,” Three decades ago as a Christian seminary student, he wrote a paper defending the Exodus and got an A, but “no one would do that today,” he says.
The second benefit of knowing the true identity of the Children of Israel is that people would no longer think that the Jesus, the Messiah appeared and the events in the New Testament happened 2,000 years ago. The Hon. Louis Farrakhan said the real Children of Israel were brought into physical bondage in 1555 in the modern Egypt (America). It’s no coincidence that the nation’s capital Washington, D.C. borrowed much of its design from Egypt. It’s no coincidence that on the back of the American dollar there is a pyramid and an American eagle that is also styled after the Egyptian emblem the Falcon of Heru.
Why was an obelisk selected to serve as the monument to honor George Washington when it is not a structure indigenous to the United States or any other European country? Yet, the obelisk is indigenous to Egypt. Nor is it a coincidence that the Book of Revelations speaks about Mystery Babylon as being Egypt (Rev. 11:8) and an eagle (Rev. 4:7). When we realize all of this it helps us to stop looking in the past for Jesus instead of the present. Our enemies are not looking back 2,000 years ago. J. Edgar Hoover, the former head of the FBI warned the agency that they needed to, “…prevent the rise of a Black Messiah.” What did he know that the masses of our people are too emotionally blind, religiously and historically misinformed to realize?
As archaeologists have known for years the Exodus in the Bible is not historical. However, what they and many others don’t realize is that the Exodus story is indeed prophetic. The Black man and woman are those who were enslaved in a land that is not ours for four hundred years. With that being a historical fact that means Jesus and the prophecies that would come and be fulfilled after 1555, not in the East, but in this Mystery Babylon (Rev. 18) called America. Lastly, that means this Jesus would be born from among the Black man and woman here in America. He has (Matt. 17:11)!
