Green Lyfe offers a program “Organic Gardening Scientist Program”, which is designed for children in grade levels K-12. It provides agriculture and environmental science education, leadership and life skills development through fun and creative activities. The “Organic Gardening Scientist Program” is committed to helping the youth to become organic gardeners and responsible citizens capable of making positive contributions to their community, school and family.
The “Organic Gardening Scientist Program” is an after school program. This program is taught inside as well as outside of the classroom. Students learn the fundamentals in home gardening, which include different ways of growing produce, and the pros and cons of home gardening. Students also conduct different organic gardening related experiments. Schools have the option of constructing an outside organic garden of 2 or more raised beds, or the school can choose to do in class demonstrations.
