A news network that loves the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam! This phenomenal news network is known as the National Network View (NNV), which launched in 2020.
In one sense, it has been a difficult period for NNV News: The seed of an international news network for the Nation was planted back in 2009.
This independent media network functions in the spirit of the National Ministry of Information. The NNV mission is to report on current events and the activity of the Nine ministries of The Nation: The Ministry of Information (Agriculture, Education, Health, Trade and Commerce, Defense, Justice, Arts and Culture, Science and Technology). NNV publishes news with commentary based on issues that are relevant to our community. NNV reaches every region of the United States and has expanded internationally.
In mid-March, NNV News launched a variety of reports: The Engine of The Nation report focuses on Agriculture and Independent Black farmers, The Al’ ASR report (a title taken from a chapter of the Holy Quran and the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan’s historic 58 week lecture series, The Time & What Must Be Done) focuses on current events with commentary from the Minister’s lecture series, Then there is the Silent Crimes report. A report done by Danielle X on Kidnapping, Human Trafficking and Organ Trafficking which are topics not sufficiently covered by mainstream media which does not cover the cases of Black victims with the same energy as Whites. NNV uses its resources to help bring attention to these issues.
National Network View utilizes the wealth of talent found throughout the Nation of Islam and Black America. Members of the production staff, news anchors, reporters and graphic designers are from various cities throughout America and the world.
Everyday NNV airs live at 5pm central standard time. Each broadcast begins with breaking news and top stories. The daily show is simultaneously aired via Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram as well as on the network’s website NNVnews.com.
The NNV News commentary is unlike any other news network, boasting no political party, the brand is Black nationalism, Freedom, Justice and Equality. This approach is not altogether favorable. In mid-2020 NNV was banned from the YouTube platform for “violating media standards”. Meaning, the independent news platform was censored for publishing a truth that is not widely supported. Refusing to be deterred by YouTube’s efforts to censor truth, National Network View purchased its own servers for NNVnews.com and began to air a twenty-four-hour news broadcast that updates the viewers about current events hourly.
In addition to reporting on current event’s National Network View also offers exclusive content.
One example of the exclusive content is the show, I Have a Testimony, which airs every Sunday at 1p CST. This show is hosted by Brother Willie Muhammad, of Muhammad Mosque No. 46. The show provides the audience with powerful testimonies from those who have witnessed the sublime character, love and more of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. Some of the show’s past guests have been members of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan’s personal security team, his personal chefs as well as public celebrities, such as former boxing promoter Roc Newman, Chuck D of Public Enemy, Hip-Hop Legends Fat Joe and Doug E. Fresh.
Though the network’s broadcast is based upon the Nine Ministries of the Nation of Islam, National Network View is a network for all Black America. No matter what political, religious, or economic background, NNV is shining light on topics that are important to Black America.
“We are in the work of showing love”, says NNV Director of Production Kenya Smith, “and it’s not a difficult task. With all the great things happening in our community there’s a plethora of greatness waiting to be covered.”
In late 2020 NNV CEO Johnny Muhammad said he received an awesome endorsement of NNV from the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. “The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan was pleased to know how NNV was working to help spread his words and how he would not have to speak anymore with this kind of broadcast. The success of the network quadrupled after the Minister shared those words to me,” said Brother Johnny Muhammad.
“It’s all about organization,” said NNV President Michael Muhammad. “We are constantly growing, so we are constantly organizing to fit the growth. NNV was the only independent news network to cover the attorney Ben Crump press conference live as the lawyer revealed new findings that linked the government to the assassination of Malcom X. This gave credit to the strengthening network that is steadily growing and evolving.”
The growing popularity of the network has helped the network get new sponsors. One of NNV most supportive sponsor is MGT and businesswoman Sajdah Muhammad, also known as Wendy Muhammad. She is currently rehabbing the Home of The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad. NNV airs consistently, running commercials for the Elijah Coin. This coin is made from the actual copper that was found in the home of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad. The coin can be purchased by visiting Sajdahhouse.com. The Sajdah House represents the kind of business that fits the NNV brand. A business with a high standard of ethics and professionalism. Asiatic Minds Online Education is another sponsor that is also a shining example of the kind of business NNV seeks to work with.
The staff of NNV News sees the network as a companion to the boldest and blackest paper on the planet, The Final Call Newspaper (FCN). NNV’s reporters and bloggers often use articles found in the FCN as inspiration for some of the topics covered during the daily broadcast.
There is still more to be accomplished by NNV and each of you reading this article can help by personally subscribing to all NNV’s social media accounts. Become a subscriber on NNV’s YouTube Channel and you can purchase advertising. Lastly, tune in to the daily broadcasts and SPREAD the word!
