Ingredients
2 cups navy beans, strained and cooled
1/2 stick butter, room temperature
3/4 cup Raw sugar
1.5 teaspoon cinnamon
9 inch pie crust
4 oz can evaporated milk
2 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Method
In a small bowl whip the butter and spice together
In another bowl lightly mix the sugar and beans. Slowly add eggs and vanilla, continue beating while adding milk then add butter
Pour into the prepared 9 inch crust, which can be Pre-baked Crust or refrigerated. Set aside a few minutes to settle filling and allow crust to slightly absorb some filling
Bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for 1 hour 10 minutes or a 330 degree oven for 1 hour 30 minutes. The pie is done when the center of the pie no longer has a puddle of moisture when you tap the sides of the pie with a spatula
Place the pie under the broiler flame to toast the top, if desired
Remove from over and cool on rack
