HOUSTON, TX. — The Ultimate Runway Fashion Show will kick off their 10-city tour in Houston, TX, December 1st World AIDS Day. The Ultimate Runway Fashion Show will tour urban areas highly affected by the HIV/AIDS virus. “We chose Houston as our kick off city because according to our research, Houston has the most cases reported in the Urban community,” stated Anne Grimsley, Founder of The Ultimate Runway Fashion Show. The show will be hosted by Bravo’s Housewives of Atlanta Star Dwight Eubanks as he presents fashions by local designers as well as New York City fashion designer “Omar Salam” showing pieces from his Holiday Collection! In addition to a night of Fashion, attendees will have an opportunity to take advantage of FREE HIV/AIDS testing during the event provided by Positive Efforts, Inc. which will also receive a portion of the proceeds.
The Ultimate Runway Fashion Show on World AIDS Day, December 1, 2012 to bring awareness to this epidemic! “The Ultimate Runway Show was created as an avenue to help be a Catalyst for change by spreading health knowledge and risk reduction in our communities,” says Grimsley. “As Houston is an urban area which is greatly affected by this disease, it is our goal to continue awareness and education in regions that are significantly affected by the HIV/AIDS virus.”
