York Regional Police released a new photo today of a missing Markham woman.
Taneesha Brown, 25, was last seen Tuesday at about 10:30 p.m. in the area of McCowan Road and Castlemore Avenue. She told family members she was going outside for some fresh air and did not return.
Police and her family are concerned for her safety because she is not dressed for the winter weather. So far, they have not received any leads regarding her whereabouts.
Police have also released more details about what she was last seen wearing: a traditional Muslim outfit consisting of a white, knee-length dashiki, white pants and a white hijab on her head.
She was carrying a black purse.
Brown is black, five-feet, five-inches tall, 122 pounds, with black shoulder-length hair with pink highlights.
