Ingredients
8 cups boiling water
1 cup coffee
1 whole egg (washed)
1/8 tsp. salt
1 cup cold water
Method
Add coffee to boiling water and cook 5 to 6 minutes. While coffee is boiling, break egg in a cup, add salt and whip with fork or beater until fluffy. Then, break egg shell into beaten egg and mix together. After coffee has boiled 5 to 6 minutes, drop beaten egg plus shell into the coffee pot. Let it cook approximately 1 minute until egg is done. Lower heat, add one cup of cold water to settle the coffee. After coffee has cleared, approximately 3 minutes, strain and serve.
